Never a dull moment...

...when you live in the middle of a cow pasture. (Literally - on three sides our yard is bordered with electric fence and cows.)
After breakfast yesterday we went out on the front porch to say hi to "Benny the bull" as Cadie called him.

If you look carefully at this picture, you can see that he's on the wrong side of the fence and just chilling next to our driveway.  Thankfully the farmer came and chased him back through.  Apparently this bull will be going to auction soon, because once they start escaping, they don't stop.

That is an unsettling thing to think. Bull on the loose is never a good thing. Hope he didn't show the others how to get out. Next thing you know another will be sitting in the drive where you can't get out!

I laugh when I think of our "cow excape" moments. Fun times living in the country. Someday this will be a great story to tell the girls.
